Your customers no longer type only into Google. "Who offers this service?" goes to ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, and Google itself shows a ready answer with AI Overviews on many searches. Sites named and cited inside the answer get the visitor; sites that are not stay invisible in this new space. GEO services target that space.
GEO does not replace SEO; it builds on it. AI engines build their answers largely from technically clean, clearly written and trustworthy pages. So we work on access and structure first, then on content and brand signals; what people call AI SEO or ChatGPT SEO is really the regular application of these four layers.
Measurement is what sets us apart. The questions your customers ask are put to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode every week; how often you are named and cited shows in the dashboard. GEO stops being a feeling and becomes a result read as before/after.
What is GEO, and how does it differ from SEO?
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the work that gets a brand named and cited in the answers of generative AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode). SEO aims at a place in the ranking list; GEO aims at the answer itself: the AI has to read your page, trust it and quote it.
Both share the same foundation: a crawlable site, clear content, trustworthy signals. The difference is how the answer is built. AI engines prefer sections that answer the question directly, give the definition in the first sentence and are backed by structured data, not long and scattered pages. GEO work brings the content into that shape.
Access and structure: can the crawlers read you?
The first step is simple but missing on most sites: GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended may be blocked in robots.txt, or a firewall or CDN setting may turn them away. The free AI bot and llms.txt checker shows this in seconds; our team fixes the settings and writes the llms.txt file.
On the structure side Organization, Service, FAQ and Article schemas are added; name, address, phone and social profiles are written the same everywhere. That consistency makes it easier for an AI engine to recognise the brand as an entity.
Citable content and brand signals
AI answers are built from short, clear, verifiable sections. Every important page gets an opening paragraph that answers the question directly, definition sentences, step lists and FAQs. Comparison and "who it's for" pages are the formats AI engines cite most when they recommend.
Brand signals are built outside the site: industry directories, mentions in trusted sources, consistent author and company details. These signals raise the trust of Google and of the AI engines alike; they run on the same plan as the permanent backlinks of the SEO work.
Measurement: are you named, are you cited?
GEO's biggest problem was that it could not be measured. The SEOLOK platform puts the questions your customers ask to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode every week and records, as rates, whether you are named and whether your site is cited as a source. Because answers change every time, the rate comes with a range; with little data no claim is made.
The monthly report lists mention rate, citation rate, Google rankings and the work done as before/after. The offer is tailored to your site; payment is by bank transfer, in TRY plus 20% VAT in Türkiye and in USD elsewhere.
